Refund and Exchange Policy

At Hawthorn Quill Publishing, we take care in crafting and packaging every item. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

1. Physical Products (Books, Journals, and Printed Goods)

We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • You contact us within 14 days of receiving your order

  • Items are unused, unread, and in original condition

  • Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless the item is damaged or incorrect

2. Holiday & Seasonal Purchases

Orders placed between November 15 and December 31 are eligible for an extended return period. You may request a return or exchange for eligible items until January 15 of the following year.

Please email us at returns@hawthornquill.ca with your order number and reason for return or exchange.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and description. We’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund—no return required in most cases.

4. Digital Products

All digital product sales (e.g. downloads, eBooks, or PDF journals) are final and non-refundable.

If you experience a technical issue, let us know and we’ll ensure you receive your files properly.

5. Refund Process & Timeline

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving your returned item. You will receive an email notification once processed.
